Classpad Help Series

Classpad Help Series - a resource for both students and teachers. Although most help sheets can be found in the Basic section we have now started developing the Intermediate and Advanced sections. Contributions and suggestions are most welcome - see below. Last update 19th November 2008.

Basic

The movies and documents in the Basic section are intended for both students and teachers who are just starting out with Classpad. No prior knowledge is needed or assumed.

Intermediate

The movies and documents in the Intermediate section are intended for students and teachers who are looking to develop their Classpad skills. Knowledge of the Basic section is assumed.

Advanced

The movies and documents in the Advanced section are intended for students and teachers who are comfortable Classpad users. Skills from both the Basic and Intermediate levels are developed further.

Background

Thanks to our major contributors for their knowledge and expertise. At the time of writing most of the Basics, our Classpads were running OS version 03.02.3000. Since then we've moved on to version 03.03.3000. If your Classpad has a different OS this may account for different screens. You can download the latest OS from Casio.

We welcome contributions to add to this collection and also requests for new help topics. Please contact Casio Education on + 61 2 9415 5052. A copy of this site is also freely available on CD from Casio Education.

Movies were created using the free Cam Studio recorder with settings shown in this Word document. Screen shots in the documents were created using both the Classpad Manager and the free Gadwin PrintScreen. The template used to create the PDF's was also a Word document.
