Classpad Help Series

Classpad Help Series - a resource for both students and teachers. Make sure you check through all of the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced sections for the help you require. These section titles are intended to reflect your stage of development with Classpad, rather than math ability, although 'harder' math concepts have been kept to the Advanced section. Contributions and suggestions are most welcome - see below. Last update 28th January 2010.

Basic

The movies and documents in the Basic section are intended for both students and teachers who are just starting out with Classpad. No prior knowledge is needed or assumed.

Intermediate

The movies and documents in the Intermediate section are intended for students and teachers who are looking to develop their Classpad skills. Knowledge of the Basic section is assumed.

Advanced

The movies and documents in the Advanced section are intended for students and teachers who are comfortable Classpad users. Skills from both the Basic and Intermediate levels are developed further.

Background

Thanks to our major contributors for their knowledge and expertise. At the time of writing most of the Basics, our Classpads were running OS version 03.02.3000. Since then we've moved on through 03.03.3000 to 03.04.4000. If your Classpad has a different OS this may account for different screens. You can download the latest OS from Casio.

Movies were created using the free Cam Studio recorder with settings shown in this Word document. Screen shots in the documents were created using both the Classpad Manager and the free Gadwin PrintScreen. The Word template used for help sheets is here.
